Build IT (UK) Ltd recognise that our operations directly affect the natural and developed environment, so in order to minimise adverse environmental impacts the Company has established and documented an Environmental Management System (EMS) which is implemented, maintained, and continually improved in accordance with the requirements of the European Standard BS EN ISO 14001:1996.
The EMS, which is integrated with the overall management system of the company, will comply with current environmental legislation and regulations, with particular attention given to the prevention of pollution and nuisance.
We will set measurable environmental objectives and targets which will be periodically reviewed by the company management team to ensure that they remain relevant and effective, and will revise them when necessary.
The Company will ensure that adequate resources are available to meet the objectives of the EMS and will also establish effective arrangements to promote environmental awareness to our employees and ensure that they understand their individual responsibilities.
This Environmental Policy is available to employees and other interested parties including members of the public.
