Our cable jointers work primarily on the electrical underground cable network, installing and maintaining connections over a range of voltages to ensure that the electricity supply meets customer needs and the network maintains our high standards. Our jointers can connect cables to the electricity network system as well as finding faults and repairing problems that may have developed through age or damage.
Due to our experience working on many of the distribution networks in the UK we consider ourselves to be one of the best in this field.
Live jointing of all types of low voltage (LV) cables are completed with ease and our teams are experienced at distinguishing between safe and dangerous areas of the cable.
Our high voltage (HV) teams are experienced in working on various cables, where 11kV Triplex and 3 core are common occurrence together with experience with more complex steel wire armoured / copper screened cable. The teams have access to all the necessary equipment and vehicles to ensure all work locations can be reached.
ICF & CIC. We are able to complete ‘live’ network LV connections.
